I am a fan of both of the older CSI's. I was exited to try the New York series because I like Gary Sinise. Unfortunately the CSI: NY's stories are over the top and not in a good way. The writers seem to think that the weirder the cases the more interesting the show. There is no humanity in this series. None of the characters, whether the good guys or the bad guys grab your imagination. Everyone seems to just go through the motions. It is total waste of time as far I am concerned. Lucia Dana,
