Back from the U.S.

February 27, 2007 By Dana 1 Comment

We just returned from a trip to California. That’s not supposed to be an excuse for not having posted anything since January 28. We had the laptop with us, so we could have. But we were in another world and simply weren’t inspired enough to keep our Czech blog going. Apologies for the long silence.

I’ve been thinking about some of the things that stood out for me during our visit, which took place almost two and a half years after we left the U.S. and moved to the Czech Republic. It’s been interesting to realize what some of the more striking differences between the two countries are, at least in my view. I will be writing about some of them in the next few days.
